Hi guys!! I have been combing through pictures all day today. Blogging consists of a lot of combing through pictures, but it’s not for blogging this time. We’re getting together with my family this weekend for a slide show of our photos from Alaska, except that between the hubs and myself we took something like 5000 photos! Since we don’t have 2 solid weeks to devote to the slide show I’m having to go through and pick out the best of the best photos. Which is super hard, because everything in Alaska is amazing and awe inspiring. Combing through blog photos is so much easier! So I decided to take a short break and get my Zoya review done. Let’s take a look!

My review of Zoya Sophisticates Collection I am so excited to share with you today my review and swatches of the BEAUTIFUL Zoya Sophisticates Fall 2017 Collection.
When I first saw these polishes, I was so so excited because fall colors are my jam. This was also one of the few collections I've seen that really are focusing on the dusty pinks and mauves of fall instead of the classic darker colors. While those dark classic colors are in there, most of them have a twist that take them to the next level.
Right On The Nail: Zoya Fall 2017 Sophisticates Collection Swatches And Reviews Part I
Zoya has always been one of my favorite nail polish brands because they are cruelty free and have a 10 free formula: FORMULATED WITHOUT FORMALDEHYDE, FORMALDEHYDE RESIN, DIBUTYL PHTHALATE, TOLUENE, CAMPHOR, TPHP, PARABENS, XYLENE, ETHYL TOSYLAMIDE and LEAD.
*These were sent to me in PR*, and in the press release Zoya describes this collection as "Meet the SOPHISTICATES, Zoya’s latest palette of smouldering nudes, wine reds and shadowy hues in pearl, metallic and cream nail polish finishes."
I just wanted to note, so I don't have to write it under each polish, but the cream finishes in this collection all go on with a more jelly like formula, so it takes some time to get used to and build up.
Zoya Nail Polish Wanderlust Collection For Summer 2017
Before I get into the swatches, I have to note that I am so sorry the pictures are not all exactly the same, I work in news and was working on Hurricane/Tropical Storme Harvey coverage so had to take a break in the swatching to work.
Honestly, ever since I saw Chanel Peridot back in the day (circa 2011) these gold peridot shades have always caught my eye. Gal is definitely not as strong of a multi-chrome than some of my other similar shades, but what I love about this is that it appears to be a clear base with peridot shimmers. This was 3 coats, and it comes off more yellow/green in this photos, but in the sunlight I was able to spot just a hint of the classic peridot blue.
I am thinking of doing a comparison post of all my gold peridot polishes, so keep an eye out for that in the future!
Wondrously Polished: Zoya Nail Polish
I was not expecting to really like this deep hunter green, because I was hesitant about the silver pearl it was paired with, however it turned out to look pretty good on me. I was happy with the color (just wish I was a bit tanner). This was 2 coats, and I think that this is truly a very unique color in my collection!
In most lights, this blue looked like a dusty blue/grey. At times I wasn't sure what color it was and I was and had to double check the press release. This looks almost black, but that hint of blue makes it totally work appropriate and absolutely is a sophisticate shade. This was 2 thin coats, but you could get away with 1if you paint on thicker coats. It's a little patchier than the other shades, and is probably my least favorite in the collection.
Talk about another polish that looks almost black, but a hint of color turns it into an office color. This deep brown is really runs looking black, which I love but is not always work appropriate, but with that brown in there this will definitely be a color I reach for as we get deep into fall. This was 2 thin coats, but again you could get away with 1 if you paint on thicker.
Writing Beauty: Glitzy Fall Nails: Zoya Monica + Daul
This deep plum really comes out as a bluer-wine color, but I think that's because this was one of the last shades I was able to swatch and daylight was fading. In direct sunlight, this is a lot more red, but I think this swatch is true to what it would look like in indoor lighting. This was 2 think coats, but again you could get away with 1.
This is a beautiful red cream, and with that jelly like formula it makes this polish really shine. I really love reds like this and I am happy they added it to this collection, but it isn't the most unique color. This was 2 thin coats.
I lovedddd this shade. This is a perfect nude color for me, which I would usually only wear in the summer time, but the subtle pearlescent really brings it into the fall season. This did take 3 coats to cover my nail line to my liking, but as you can see on my pointer finger, you can still kind of see it.
Mainstream Swatch And Review
This is by FAR my favorite color in this collection. I truly have nothing like this in the hundreds of bottles that I own and it is just so gorgeous. This is not only perfect for fall, but can be used all year round and the golden flecks in the sandy rose are just gorgeous. This was 2 coats, but could take up to 3 for some people.
Wow this color blew me away. What is there not to love about this mauvey taupe😍😍This is my perfect fall shade and a really close second favorite. Honestly this picture just tells it all, and it only took two coats to reach this perfect finish.
This is just like a darker and dustier version of Presley, and it's just as gorgeous. I've always been more into the lighter shades when it comes to dusty fall types, but this is still a beautiful dusty berry shade and I'm actually wearing this shade as I type this up. This was 2 coats, and evened out really great.
Scrangie: Zoya Nyfw Gloss Collection Fall 2012 Swatches And Review
This would not be the first color I reach for or go out and buy, but it is actually a really pretty jelly berry color. Also, being a lover of Greek mythology, I love the name of this polish so much. This was two thin coats.
Don't worry I did a double take too, this color
